Chronovolt is a ball rolling, platform game created in Unity
Chronovolt was created with assets imported into Unity from 3Ds Max.
The game idea was simple enough but we added a 'turn back time' function which really added something to the choices in level design. The levels were designed to be attractive but also challenging. I planned each level out on paper making sure it was compellable and interesting enough, then 'went to town' each level out in Unity once the plan was completed. I included multi-tiered platforms, rotating blocks, fall away blocks and slippery surfaces. Once each level was complete we added foliage and decoration which looks quite impressive.
